Active Sefton Fitness Suite
Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre has an accessible 'Active Sefton' fitness suite.
The fitness suite is equipped with a high standard of ‘Life Fitness’ machinery which allows you to watch your favourite TV channels on the Cardio Vascular machines whilst you work out.
The Cardio Vascular machines also have the ability to run your personal fitness programme from a USB port. You can set up a programme yourself by visiting the Life Fitness Virtual Trainer website, you can then save this to a USB device and record your workout in your own virtual world. You can purchase a Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre USB wrist band from the main reception.
The machinery is also compatible with I-POD’s, you can charge your I-POD whilst listening to your personal play list on all of the Cardio Vascular machines.
Please note that you will need to complete an induction prior to using the machinery by yourself, this is compulsory for health and safety reasons and therefore you must book an induction with one of our trained fitness instructors before using the fitness suite.
