It was a pleasure to stay at such a warm and friendly hotel. It was a great location near the beach and Anthony Gormleys, 'Another Place'.  I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will return here again when I am back in Merseyside,” said Townsend.

As a full time wheelchair user, it is important that she stays in spacious fully accessible accommodation and the Lakeside Lodge has been specifically designed with this in mind.

Sue Townsend Britain’s best-selling author of the 80s for her Adrian Mole books stayed in the Lakeside Lodge with her husband after her appearance at the Sefton Celebrates Writing Festival.
